The purpose of our service is so God can reach others through our hands, and through our works, for faith without works is dead.

In II Cor. 9, the Bible says that the service we provide not only meets needs, but expresses thanks to God and leads others to praise God.

God has given each of us a unique set of gifts. As stewards of those gifts, it is our duty to use our gifts to serve God, His Kingdom, and other people. We are to be willing soldiers in the army of the Lord. As we serve, we must do so faithfully, and with a perfect heart. Everything we do is for the honor and glorification of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not for our own glorification.
